Africans beaded for art, for history, Roman beaded for luxury and Native Americans beaded for religion and beliefs. Beading for the part thousands of year was shared across all corners of the world.
Fantasia Beads & Accessories came to existence in 1995. The one of the purposes of its founding was to joining the ancient cultures through merging the art of beading from China and South Africa, so this most ancient form of art could flourish and never be lost through the tides of times. For this is a gem worthy of inheritance for our children and many generations to come.
We have over 6000 different products including glass beads, plastic beads, seed beads, crystals and sterling silver accessories, fresh water pearls, metal beads and many beading accessories that are very well known for the quality and size of our findings range. Our prices are also agreed by many to be very competitive with other merchants. As unlike others, we regard the spreading and prolonging of beading as an art as our own mission.
In the past 14 years, with our firm belief in this ancient art, our company two has flourished and grown, from one small shop in Table View to 3 branches, including a large warehouse around Cape Town South Africa, with management’s intention to expand further, we had proved that this ancient form of art is still loved by many in world.
As we have discovered with much excitement, beading also provided to be a great business opportunities for those who are currently experiencing financial difficulties during the time of worldwide recession. Many of our most loyal customers have started small sole proprietorships with the items they have made out of our beads. They have been proven to be mostly successful and have recreated jobs and employment opportunities for many in this time of turmoil.
